Assessment to inform, or review progress of, an intervention (either in literacy or numeracy)

A service for schools or home-schooled children and young people, these are informal assessments, intended either to assist the creation of a targeted intervention, or to assess the progress made since an intervention was put in place.

What's Included:

  • discussion (prior to assessment) of the child’s current difficulties in an area of literacy or numeracy and the type of support or interventions that have already been put in place

  • analysis of above information provided prior to assessment

  • Administration of appropriate assessment (standardised and/or informal qualitative)

  • Written and oral feedback to teachers with recommendations for next steps
